I know, taking contributions is totally legitimate. That being said, it's one puzzle piece in an overall trend, from monthly broadcasts to a children's cartoon and tie-in printable activity, to countless letters read at the hall, to the website and app. This past year even The Watchtower and Awake! have started printing a note about contributing in the opening page.

can someone tell me, specifically, was homophobic about the new "anti-gay" wt video.

Yes,'homophobia' is overused as a catch-all slur in and of itself often. As for the video: Irrational fear? Not quite. Aversion? Not quite. Discrimination? It could be argued that since the video says gays won't be allowed in paradise, then paradise isn't an equal opportunity landlord 😜

George Benson & Sheila Hutchinson on JW Broadcasting

i am thoroughly surprised nobody has brought this up yet, but two of the original songs released last year, "i give you my best" & "jehovah welcomes you home" were performed by george benson, and the first one was a duet with singer sheila hutchinson, the same one who did duets with him over 10 years ago for the cancelled album mentioned in our kingdom ministry.

Well, think of it this way: there are many rank and file witnesses that do 'questionable' things, even quite differently than the org wants, but it's nothing judicial. Prince likewise was just a regular low hour publisher, and I'm sure he didn't have any responsibilities in the congregation. Its not like the orgs leaders have officially mentioned him or used him at all.
